The stormiest sailing competition in recent years was the 48th Kékszalag Erste World Grand Prix, which was held between 14 and 16 July 2016. The storm the night before the race caused severe damages in many ships; finally, 451 out of 481 boats entered to the race could participate in the biggest round-the-Lake sailing competition of Europe. The organisers warned the sailors before the start that only those participated in the competition, who had properly prepared their ships to the extreme conditions and had sufficient experience. The competition of this year was not about the chances rather it was about that, which boat and her crew could safely race on the nearly 160km course in such challenging conditions. All participants emerged as a winner from the race on the Kékszalag of this year, who managed to defeat the weather conditions. Tramontana supported by KRS Attorneys-at-Law, which is the second oldest ship of the Balaton, also participated in the 48 th Kékszalag Erste World Grand Prix and triumphed over the elements thus further gained her reputation and the reputation of the race and our Law Firm.
